As a result of a dispute between a property owner and a contractor, following the building of an extension, we were called in to investigate and report upon a drainage problem. As well as identifying problems with the levels on the foul drain runs we also established that the contractors drainage sub-contractor had cut through one of the surface water drains running to the soak-away. The contractor accepted liability and did rectify all defects.
